About the Experience
A slow walk down through the green terraces of the east, stopping wherever the view asks you to.
The terraces around Tirta Gangga are some of the quietest in Bali, farmed by the same families for generations. We drive up in the cool of the morning and walk down along the water channels.
Your guide explains how the subak irrigation system shares water between the fields, and introduces you to farmers along the way if they are working.
The walk ends at a warung in the village for fresh coconut and a simple lunch before the drive back.
